About
I am a warm and compassionate Consultant Clinical Psychologist registered with the British Psychological Society, Health and Care Professions Council, and the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies.
I have over 15 years experience in the NHS and have worked in various positions and different contexts, working with adults and young people. My most recent post was as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist working across three prisons in Surrey. I have extensive experience of providing psychological therapy, draw on the latest evidence, and tailor the therapy to your current needs and presenting difficulties.
I bring a warm, open, and down-to-earth approach to my work and aim to provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space to talk. I can provide EMDR, CBT, Schema Therapy, or a more flexible approach that integrates different models. I am also influenced by ideas from Internal Family Systems, Compassion Focussed Therapy, ACT, and Mindfulness.
Starting therapy can be a daunting prospect and is often the hardest step to take. However, I believe that we have all had times in our life when we have needed some more focussed help. I offer a free telephone consultation which is an opportunity for me to understand more about why you are seeking help and for you to ask any questions you may have.
