Hello, I am Dr Eloise Smith HCPC registered Senior Clinical Psychologist) founder of Open Mind Psychology.
My expertise include conducting neuro-developmental diagnostic assessments (Autism and ADHD), cognitive assessments, and providing psychological assessment and evidence-based treatments for a range of clinical mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders (OCD, GAD, phobias), trauma, psycho-somatic conditions and depression. I can also support those who are navigating significant life events or who are feeling worried, low or just not quite themselves.
I offer ND assessments for children, teenagers and adults. Assessments use standardised measures, and incorporate 'gold standard' assessment tools, such as the ADOS-2.
I work alongside a wonderful HCPC Speech and Language Therapist, Laurie Prichard. We have both had extensive experience working both private and NHS services.
I am passionate about helping others overcome their difficulties or learn more about themselves, and hope to provide a neuro-affirming diagnostic experience. I firmly believe that with the right support, people can make meaningful changes to create a more fulfilled life. With my clinical expertise, I hope to provide a safe space to help you explore how.
