About
Are you suffering from an eating disorder? Are you constantly feeling not good enough? Are your anxieties stopping you from living the life that you want? Are you feeling stressed, overwhelmed or burnt out? Are you a perfectionist with unrelenting standards and highly self-critical? Do you find yourself sabotaging your relationships? Whatever your circumstances, I am here to help. ‘Tutum' is a latin word which means 'safe'. I founded Tutum Psychology to provide a safe space for people to talk. The scientific literature has shown that feeling safe in your therapeutic relationship is important in order for therapy to be a success.
I am a Clinical Psychologist who specialises in adolescent and working age adult mental health. My areas of interests are eating disorders and anxiety. I also work with a range of clinical presentations e.g. mood difficulties, OCD, burnout, and many others. I have over 15 years experience of working in mental health and completed two doctorates.
I employ an individualised intervention approach which means that treatment delivery is tailored according to your needs, preferences, and scientific evidence. I offer discounted rates for a limited number of students and minimum wage earners, and a free initial 15-min video or telephone consultation. My website is www.tutumpsychology.co.uk.
