I am a child and adolescent counsellor and psychotherapist working with young people ages 5-30. Growing up can come with many challenges, in friendships, relationships, school, home, and with your self-identity. It is a lot to navigate on your own. Your past may weigh heavily on you, or perhaps you feel anxiety and worry about the future. Whatever is taking up space in your mind, I offer a safe space to offload and explore it. Together we can figure out how to make life feel better for you. This may be finding coping strategies, finding your voice, or processing difficult feelings and life experiences.
I specialise in building trusting relationships with young people. I offer talking therapy, as well as creative therapy, such as play and art, to help young people express feelings and experiences which cannot yet be put into words. I also offer CBT, which may appeal to clients who like to 'do' in order to solve a problem.
I believe you are the expert of you. I am here to sit alongside you in your feelings and experiences, and offer genuine curiosity, perspective, and empathy. Your counselling space with me is confidential, safe, and non-judgemental. I believe that everybody, no matter their age, needs a safe space to express themselves, be seen, heard, and understood.
