Hi, my name is Donna. I'm a fully qualified Integrative Psychodynamic Counsellor based in Huddersfield. I'm a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I understand that life can change as quickly as the British weather. One moment it is bright and clear, and unexpectedly it can change and become dark and gloomy. I would like to support and walk with you through that darkness. I believe that everyone is unique also are their life stories, needs, issues and circumstances.
My counselling practice involves my focus being on you (the client). I am an integrative counsellor and my main approaches are Person Centered Therapy combined with a Psycho-dynamic approach. I would like to offer you a confidential, non-judgmental space where you feel safe and free to talk about any concerns you are experiencing.
I have worked with a diverse range of clients, this includes age ranges from 13 years and upwards, various religions, ethnicities and nationalities, I have walked with them throughout their experiences of mild to complex trauma, depression, anxiety, loss, relationship issues, domestic abuse, self-harm, sexual abuse or exploitation.
