About
My aim is to provide you with a person-centred evidence-based therapy in a manner that is compassionate and healing. We will start by having an inital consultation, which is a chance for you to share with me in depth what you are struggling with. We will then decide together whether a shorter term therapy that addresses a specific difficulty, or a longer term therapy that takes a more holistic and exploratory approach is most suitable for your needs and goals. I have grown up across Europe, Africa and South Asia, and I bring this lived experience of multiculturalism and familiarity with change to my therapeutic practice.
I have particular expertise providing therapy to clients struggling with low self-esteem and confidence, anxiety and OCD, relationship and intimacy issues, LGBTQ+ issues, multicultural, race and expat issues, navigating life transitions and loss, and low mood and depression. I incorporate building resilience and growth into the therapy.
I'm a chartered clinical psychologist and a scholar. I have over a decade of experience working in psychology in the NHS, private practice, academia and the NGO sector. I have written several journal publications and book chapters which explore the impact of our childhood experiences on our later life well-being.
