I have experience with clients who are undergoing significant changes and difficulties in personal relationships, employment or life in general. You may have high levels of anxiety or stress; you may be facing, or have been through a separation, divorce or family issues; you may have lost someone close to you through bereavement; perhaps you are experiencing sadness or depression; perfectionism; low self-esteem; or the wide ranging impacts of trauma. The therapy we do together provides a compassionate, confidential space in which to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, with an openness to whatever concerns you bring.
I pay careful attention to the way patterns of your experience shed light on your concerns, how they relate to past events, to present circumstances, and to the uncertainties of the future. This is existentialist therapy that builds an understanding of your way of being and relating. We explore meaningful change and how you can be 'at home' in the world.
My approach is guided by deep affinity for your potential for living a more fulfilling life by coming to terms with the past, living fully in the present, and embracing the challenges and possibilities of the future. I welcome the chance for us to have an initial conversation, to see how I can work with you to provide the therapy that you may be seeking.

I often work with clients experiencing difficulties or undergoing significant changes in personal relationships, employment or social life; for example, the end of a relationship, bereavement, depression, perfectionism, lack of purpose, the impacts of abuse and other forms of trauma. From the early sessions, we gain a clear sense of the main concerns, explore them, and regularly review progress.

I offer an open-minded, compassionate therapy that is based on an existentialist and phenomenological approach. I attune to your experiences and concerns and how they change through time. We look at how you experience the world and the people in your life, and how that relates to the concerns you bring to therapy. This form of therapy deepens self awareness and builds confident decision-making.
