I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with several years of clinical experience in the voluntary sector and private practice. Although my therapeutic experience is wide-ranging, covering a variety of clinical presentations and backgrounds, I have considerable experience with the LGBTQ+ community, neurodivergence, and those dealing with recurring depression and anxiety. My counselling approach combines Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with the person-centred approach. The goal is to help you regain your life.
Alongside helping you better understand your struggles, we'll devise an extensive action plan to help deal with difficult thoughts and feelings effectively. This will be accomplished by selecting from a wide variety of appropriate, customised strategies practised in-session, thereby equipping you with a set of tools to enable you to thrive.
