Thank you for visiting my profile, I know that it can be quite daunting to look for support particularly when you're feeling vulnerable and with so many practitioners to choose from. Sometimes life can be tough, we can get confused, low or stressed and can't seem to find our way, it's at these times that counselling can be useful and help us understand our emotions and help us get back in control.

I have many years experience in individual counselling and my speciality is couples counselling. I worked with Relate for many years as a counsellor, supervisor and trainer. I offer an integrated approach that incorporates psychodynamic, person centred and cognitive behavioural approaches working with you to reach your goals.

Our initial meeting will be guided by you and focus on your needs, looking at what brought you to therapy - we will discuss how therapy can support you to deal with issues you may be struggling with. We may arrange regular weekly meetings over a period time that will explore how you came feel this way. In the case trauma we may agree to use EMDR a process specifically designed for trauma.
