Are you looking for a child or adolescent pychotherapist? With 20+ years of experience I have worked with a broad range of difficulties. My aim is to help all children & young people to develop resilience & self awareness so they can flourish and grow into their full potential. I also work with adults, offer parent work, & supervise therapists working in this field. I am particularly interested in childhood trauma and neurodiversity. As a psychodynamic psychotherapist I believe that understanding our unique histories and life experiences can help build our capacity to embrace life fully & manage its inevitable stressors & losses.
I initially qualified as a adult counsellor later gaining a Masters in working with Children, Young People & Families at the Tavistock & Portman NHS Trust. Throughout my career I have always been passionate about young people having spaces to meet with safe, empathetic, non-judgemental adults as they seek to understand & accept themselves more fully.
I offer a free 30 minute telephone consultation to explore things in more detail. This gives us the opportunity to see if I am the right therapist to help. Throughout our work together I will endeavour to offer a caring, relational space rooted in my own journey & my belief in the creative potential for each person to lead a meaningful life.
