Taking the first step to contact a therapist is not easy-it is leap into the unknown! So, I take pride in offering an accessible and high quality service for my clients that meets their needs. I draw on my years of experience (22 in the field of mental health, 15 as a qualified Clinical Psychologist) to help you to develop an understanding of the difficulties you are currently facing and how to address these using a personalised approach. I draw on the current best evidence of "what works" and what best fits with you as an individual. My aim is for you to feel understood, supported and empowered to make changes and reach your goals.
I work across the life span with adults, young people and children. My background is in adult mental health and I have also worked in child and adolescent services for 10 years, in the NHS, private practice and the third sector. I draw on a range of approaches such as CBT, ACT, CFT and solution focused therapy to help you make changes and reach your goals.
I aim to offer an accessible service and work in ways that support this - in person, online or outdoors if you prefer. I have a limited no. of lower fee appointments. I work with a range of difficulties that include and are not limited to anxiety, depression, panic, phobia's, OCD, ASD, ADHD, relationship problems, work-related stress and eating issues.
