About
Hello and welcome. I have been working as a counsellor and therapist for over 18 years and am passionate about my work. I find that people often come for counselling and therapy when they have exhausted their other resources and still feel unable to move forward. I am completely committed to supporting you to navigate your difficulties, using my years of knowledge and experience, and my calm and unhurried approach. I am a psychodynamic counsellor which means that I will think about your whole story as well as the things that are currently affecting your day-to-day life.
I have a breadth and depth of experience and currently the bulk of my work is with young people aged 17-25. I offer both short-term counselling (up to 12 weeks), and long-term therapy which will continue for as long as we feel is relevant. I also work post nataly with parents who would like the opportunity to 'debrief' their birthing experience (6 weeks).
If you think I might be the right person for you, please make contact and provide a brief summary of why you're looking for counselling. I will get back to you as soon as possible to arrange a free 15 minute telephone consultation.
