I am a certified practitioner of Gabor Mate's somatic based psychotherapeutic approach, compassionate inquiry and a certified CI private mentor. I have over 20 year experience teaching and mentoring in psychology, philosophy and religious/moral studies. Along with my teaching career I have three decades of study and practice of body-mind practices throughout Europe and Asia. My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in building a safe therapeutic relationship. I offer my clients a non-judgemental presence, curiosity, humility, playfulness and gratitude as I work alongside you on your journey of healing and personal growth.
The CI psychotherapeutic approach continues to positively transform my own life as well as hundreds of clients I've worked with. My clients come from a wide range of backgrounds wanting to explore deeply rooted patterns, associated with a range of topics, including, addiction, relationships, depression, identity, religion/spirituality, child abuse and ADHD.
Therapy sessions are held in person at my home in Edinburgh and online over zoom. I am also delighted to offer individual and group mentoring sessions for therapists looking to develop their personal and professional skills, goals and competencies. I also facilitate workshops and classes in Edinburgh for personal and professional development.
