Hello and welcome. Perhaps you are going through a difficult time at the moment. Each of us can go through times when we find it difficult to cope. We can feel stressed, and alone. Exploring your thoughts and feelings in a confidential space where you won’t feel judged can be a step towards clarity and change. You may feel anxious, depressed or suffer from low self-esteem. I believe each person can help themselves find the way forward towards achieving their full potential and leading happier lives. I can help you to understand yourself and to recognise changes that you can make to ease discomfort that you may be experiencing.
I can provide general support or give you the opportunity to look at specific concerns such as loss or relationship issues. Prior to setting up in private practice, I worked in a higher education setting counselling students. I have also worked for a bereavement counselling charity. Before becoming a counsellor I worked in education as a teacher.
I offer both short and long-term counselling. You can choose to end therapy whenever you wish and as sessions proceed I'll help you review the work you have done. Our first meeting can be used for you to discuss what brings you to counselling, experience the counselling room and to decide if I am the right person to work with. Contact me with any questions.
