I have been an accredited CBT Therapist for 12 years with the BABCP and an accredited counsellor for 22 years (in total I have 22 years experience in helping clients with numerous mental health problems). I have worked recently in the NHS for seven years on the Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapies Team in an NHS hospital. I have set up and ran a CBT Service for Praxis Care (one of the largest charities in NI and parts of the UK), I have worked in GP Surgeries, in community organisations in all 'trouble' areas of Belfast. Due to my years of experience You will begin your therapy with an Initial Assessment in order to gain an insight into what has taken you to seek help today. We will then delve into these issues and begin with an understanding (psycho-education) of how they have affected your life. You will then proceed to your journey in therapy.
