I am an experienced and accredited counsellor who feels passionately about the transformative change that can emerge from good quality therapeutic support and the positive impact it can have on one's life. I work with adult clients experiencing a wide range of symptoms and difficulties. Some may find they are struggling to manage life and/or their emotions, and may experience feelings of overwhelm. Other clients come to therapy following an upsetting, difficult, or traumatic experience that has recently occurred, or that has happened in the past but continues to cause upset or unease in the here and now.
I work integratively and in a trauma-informed way. Simply put, I seek to work with the whole of the person in a way that is uniquely tailored to their needs and goals. I seek to offer a relationship of mutual respect, commitment, and integrity. My relational style means that I'm interested in how we impact and are impacted by one another and those around us.
I believe it's important to find the right therapist, someone you feel you can work well with and who feels they have the professional experience and skills to support you appropriately. As such, I offer an initial 20-minute phonecall or Zoom session to allow us the opportunity to meet, discuss your needs and requirements, and see if we might be a good fit.
