I am a qualified and experienced Psychotherapist working with individuals and couples. I offer a warm, supportive space to explore and work through whatever is on your mind, compassionately and with self-respect. Some emotional states can be difficult. And yet I believe that, if explored in a non-judgmental and caring way, they can release important learning about ourselves. They may point to entrenched ways of being that no longer serve us or beliefs that burden us in some way. Emotional pain can sometimes be a messenger that comes to highlight needs we have neglected or forgotten parts of our self.
Together we can consider opportunities for positive change in relation to the difficulties you’re experiencing, as well as anything you may need to heal or release from the past. My aim is to help you get a better sense of the root cause of any issues, begin to envisage a resolution and have a caring space from which to work towards what you hope for.
I find that using therapy in this way – to deepen our understanding of ourselves, bring more self-respect and awareness into our feelings, choices and actions – can open up new possibilities that enable us to live and be with others in a more fulfilling and authentic way.
