I am a qualified, experienced counsellor and psychotherapist and a registered member of the BACP. I work face to face and online at The Terrace Psychotherapy Centre in Taunton, where I have a private therapy room. I provide a confidential, safe environment where, without judgment, you can talk freely about any issues or worries that you are experiencing.
I work from a humanistic perspective, which emphasises looking at the whole individual, focusing on concepts such as free will, self-efficacy, and self-actualisation. Rather than concentrating on dysfunction, humanistic psychology strives to help people fulfil their potential and maximise their well-being.
Working one-on-one, with empathy, you are allowed the space to understand your challenges, personality, and trauma background. I also use a variety of therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and transactional analysis. I help clients to identify goals and potential solutions to problems that cause emotional turmoil.
