About
l am a BACP (Accredited) Counsellor with 15 years experience. During COVID-19 lockdown l continue to provide a professional service offering video & telephone counselling, concessions available for all NHS staff. I work in a way that is sensitive, in-touch and eclectic, offering a tailor-made approach for each individual client. As a professional Counsellor, my role is to provide a safe and trusting environment, the emphasis being on the therapeutic relationship, where you will find a calm, compassionate and non-judgmental approach, enabling you to explore any issues that you feel are causing you difficulties in your life.
Counselling is a deeply personal experience, it is built on a foundation of trust, warmth, genuine understanding and support, at times you may find it challenging as you work through difficulties, we can look at challenges in your life, and help you to gain valuable insight, helping to turn negative thoughts and feelings into a positive experience.
Therapy can provide a person with a deeper understanding of emotions, behaviour and perception of life experience. I work to promote the process of healing through a holistic approach, working with the whole person. Over the past few years l have diversified my skills, and in addition to my counselling practice l run Stepping Stones offering holistics.
