My name is Deborah and I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Integrative Therapist. have been working with clients for several years now and have had the privilege of seeing many people improve their quality of life through counselling. I have been working with young people and adults since 2011 and have a wide range of experience in dealing with many issues such as abuse, addiction, anger issues, anxiety, bereavement, depression, low self-esteem, relationship problems, unemployment, and many more. I work as an integrative counsellor and this allows me to tailor my therapy to each individual's needs, for example, the Person Centred approach allows you as the client to decide the pace of counselling and what is most important for you to talk about each week, whereas CBT is more structured and focused and allows us to work together to achieve your goals.
Most people feel slightly apprehensive when starting counselling and so coming for an assessment gives you the opportunity to meet me and discuss any concerns you may have. I always aim to provide a safe, non-judgemental environment and have received much positive feedback from my clients.
