Welcome to my counselling practice. Are you feeling overwhelmed by life events, or are there recurring problems in your relationships which are causing you stress? When life is difficult it can lead us to experience feelings of isolation, anxiety, depression or a general feeling of being "out of control". You may have a sense of carrying issues from your past or worrying about your future in ways that make it hard to fully engage with your life now.
Life can be very challenging and I am professionally trained to work with adults and couples on the issues you bring. I have completed additional training with Relate to work with relationship issues and I also have an interest in Emotion Regulation and have 5 years experience of working therapeutically using Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
Sometimes we find that our usual coping skills are not working as well as they used to. Counselling can help us understand ourselves and maybe look at our responses in a different way.
