Hello and welcome to my profile. I am an experienced BACP Accredited counsellor, working with adults over the age of 18. I offer sessions in person in Carmarthen as well as online or via the phone. I am passionate about helping my clients to address the issues they bring to therapy, whether it’s anxiety or depression, grief and bereavement, relationship issues or perinatal mental health issues and birth trauma. I work from a person centred approach, incorporating other modalities as needed, sharing coping strategies and techniques to empower clients to make the positive changes they are looking for.

I work with a wide range of clients. I am passionate about perinatal mental health, working with the Traumatic Birth Recovery 3 step Rewind technique to help clients and their partners work through birth or other fertility related trauma/difficulties. I also specialise in grief and bereavement work, including pregnancy loss.
I understand that finding the right counsellor can seem daunting which is why I offer a free initial 15 minute Zoom meeting. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is as important as the therapeutic approach, and this is an opportunity for us to meet and to discuss your counselling needs. Changes can take place quickly or over time, this is very individual but we will continue reassessing regularly as the therapy goes on to make sure we are on track for your needs.
