I am a qualified counsellor with 20+ years experience working with individuals & couples, with a particular expertise in issues relating to anxiety and depression, relationships, ADHD, and past trauma. My ethos as a therapist is client-lead, my priority is creating a space which is welcoming and collaborative, allowing you to feel safe and effectively explore the issues you are struggling with. I may be a good fit for you if you - feel stuck, overwhelmed, have a problem you can’t figure out, think you aren’t good enough, not where you want to be, want to move forward instead of circles and feel that you can’t make changes alone.
I specialise in Integrative Counselling, which means I believe there are a number of different approaches to counselling inc CBT. I understand that no one person or couple are the same, that different problems require different solutions, and that no single theory is sufficient - and I adapt my approach accordingly.
I understand that deciding to seek help can seem daunting, but I aim to make your counselling as supportive, positive and effective as possible. Over the past 20 +years I have successfully worked with individuals of all ages and couples giving me the experience, empathy, understanding and insight to get to the heart of the matter.
