Hi there :) Are you looking for support around coming out? Transitioning? Questioning your gender, sexuality or another aspect of your identity? Recovering from experiences of harm? Or perhaps need a safe space where you can feel understood and respected so you can get on with talking about what's going on for you? When we are unable to (safely) be our authentic selves we can experience great stress, anxiety, low mood as well as other challenges. Counselling and an exploratory listening approach such as the one I practice can really help to improve self relationship, reduce distress and isolation & increase well being.
I specialise in supporting people who are diverse around their gender, sexuality and/or relationships as well as people are who are questioning. I hold a Masters in Gender & Sexuality and am Pink Therapy accredited. I work with appreciation of intersectionality and anti-oppressive practices such as anti-racism, disability, class, and neurodiversity equality.
It can feel hard to start counselling for the first time, or to reach out after a bad experience. I'm here to make the process as welcoming as possible. I'm senior BACP and Pink Therapy accredited, have lived experience so you can be sure of a warm, ethical, professional experience. I work with both adults and young people and am also a qualified supervisor.
