Hi, my name is Dawn and I'm so pleased you've chosen to reach out and find a therapist. I'd like to offer you hope that you can find contentment in your life through exploring emotions that either overwhelm or prevent you from living the life you would like. I completed my Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling with the CPCAB in 2020, and and in 2023 qualified as a Level 1 IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapist. I completed my Level 2 IFS training in 2025. I also work within the NHS as a CBT practitioner with an IFS lens.
If you've tried other therapies that may not have had lasting effects, then I would urge you to give IFS a go. It's a transformative, evidence-based psychotherapy approach that allows you to access inner resources to promote healing and subsequently, calm and contentment in your daily life.
Sessions will be led by your unique and specific needs, with respect, sensitivity and compassion. I have had the privilege of working with a wide and varied range of clients, and the issues they bring to sessions. I have vast experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, self-harm, grief and loss.
