Stepping into counselling and looking for a therapist when you are feeling at your most vulnerable can seem very daunting. You are possibly feeling very low and anxious and in need of a neutral and non-judgemental place to turn. I offer Person Centred Therapy - a Humanistic Approach that deals with the ways in which a person consciously perceives themselves. I am client-led, I do not offer you advice, but trust that the relationship we develop together will allow you to find what you need. I offer therapy to Adults, Young People and Children (5years plus) and can work creatively.
I am a Level 5 Psychotherapeutic Counsellor qualified to work to the level of independent practitioner with Adults, Young People & Children. I work in schools & private practice, hold an enhanced DBS, full insurance & am a registered member of the BACP (247078). I attend regular Clinical Supervision & Professional Development & have worked as a CPCAB Tutor.
I am also a fully qualified Animal Assisted Therapist and work alongside Charlie and Rex, 2 Animal Assisted Guinea Pigs. I am a qualified Level 6 Counselling Supervisor and can offer Counselling Supervision to Counsellors and other Clinical Professionals and Practitioners.
