Clients bring issues like depression, anxiety, grief, anger and passivity. They maybe experiencing a major life transition (e.g. mid age / relationship breakdown) that feels too much to face alone or/and has triggered issues that now need attention.
I provide integrative psychotherapy in Norwich and NR10, drawing from evidence based methods to support the whole person - including attachment informed methods, humanistic and cognitive techniques, internal family systems.
My approach is also psychodynamic, so we explore patterns rooted in early relationships and how they might still play out, even within the therapy relationship.
I trained as an Integrative Psychotherapist at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education. That 4-year diploma involved extensive study and supervised practice in Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Gestalt and creative approaches, as well as Transpersonal perspectives. This breadth allows me to tailor to individual needs, including meaning and purpose.
Therapeutic alliance is key, so building a strong, trusting relationship where you are safe to explore is key.
Before qualifying as a psychotherapist I spent many years producing and directing factual television series. That background taught me the value of listening deeply and helping people tell their stories—skills I now bring to my therapeutic work.
