Hello, I am a qualified and accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor. I support both individuals and couples with range of issues including abuse, anxiety, stress, communication problems, depression, relationship issues, self-confidence, trust and workplace issues. Clients I see come to counselling for many reasons, to give themselves the opportunity to explore, clarify, gain or increase awareness of difficulties they are experiencing and, or how they may want to change unhelpful patterns of thoughts, feelings or behaviours they are experiencing with a view to finding their new pathway to a more satisfying way of being in the world.
The decision to start counselling can be daunting. The relationship between the client and counsellor is important and together we will aim to establish a safe, trusting, supportive and confidential environment in which you can explore any aspect of difficulty that you are currently experiencing in your life with a view to making positive and lasting change.
I see clients on a short, medium and long term basis and am an accredited member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society as well as a member of the United Kingdom Association of Transactional Analysts.
