I adapt my therapy to suit you. If you want a warm & accepting space where you talk about whatever you like in an open, unstructured way, I'm happy to offer that. The safety of the relationship we develop is the basis for you to explore what's going on for you and understand things better. This is person-centred therapy.
If you would like something more structured though, I also offer EMDR. This is a trauma therapy; we focus on specific memories or experiences that you find distressing and help you process them so you can be free from them. This is all on your terms though; you are still in control of what you choose to process.
I offer an accepting, warm and genuine relationship, separate from the rest of your life, where you can explore what is really bothering you. Very often the relationship itself is the therapy, as the sense of safety I hope to offer is the basis of everything we do.
I am happy to speak to people who are interested in seeking therapy with myself but want that initial conversation to see how they feel before continuing, so feel free to get in touch.
