About
I offer Person Centred counselling, a non-directive approach, which believes, given the right conditions, a person can reach their full potential and become their true self. I aim to offer a safe, non-judgemental, supportive, and understanding space for you to talk about past or present feelings, emotions, and events. From our work together, I hope to facilitate your personal growth and self-development thus enabling you to make peace or find resolution of current or past difficulties.
In addition to the above, I also work integratively which means that I have a good understanding and working knowledge of other theories and types of psychologies (such as Transactional Analysis, Attachment Theory, Solution Focused Therapy, and others), which I will bring into our work together, should there be a need or benefit to you.
I am a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and I work within the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling professions which means work ethically and responsibly when supporting others.
