Hello. I'm David Nicklin and I am a graduate of The Manchester Institute for Psychtherapy with Postgraduate Level 7 Diploma in Transactional Analysis from an Integrative Perspective where I now run my private practice. Transactional Analysis is a variety of psychotherapy which empowers people to make changes in their thinking and in their lives. As your therapist I will listen non-judgementally to your concerns and help you discover the path ahead that is right for you. TA therapy has helped me personally by leading me to a deeper understanding of myself, my life and relationships and freeing me to persue my goals.
If you are struggling in your relationship or career or feeling stressed or depressed, I will listen to your concerns and help you towards a deeper understanding of yourself and the situations you find yourself in. We will develop a strong therapeutic relationship and discover possible solutions to your problems, enabling you to make changes in your life.
I focus on building trust with my clients and encouraging them to share their concerns frankly but at their own pace. Then we will consider your formative influences, what led you to this point in your life and how you might move forward. I appreciate how hard it can be to reach out for help as I've been there myself. I'm very glad that I did.
