Hi. My name is Darron, I am based in Beswick, Manchester. It's not uncommon for individuals to experience stress and anxiety when life becomes complex and overwhelming. During such times, therapy serves as a valuable resource to help navigate and alleviate these challenging emotions. I actively and creatively collaborate with each client or supervisee to design and implement a personalized intervention to address their emotional or professional development needs. I create a space that is safe and accepting, where you can freely and creatively express yourself.
Art therapy provides a unique avenue to access our unconscious and repressed experiences, allowing us to explore and derive new meaning from these memories. This process can foster change and facilitate the adaptive storage of negative memories in the client's mind.
I work with diverse age groups, including children and adults. My psychodynamic approach places significant emphasis on the importance of early childhood stages and events. I seamlessly integrate EMDR therapy into my practice as an additional creative tool when appropriate. Additionally, in my clinical supervision work, I adopt a Person-Centred Approach.
