Hello, my name is Danny and I am a Counsellor based in Norwich. Starting counselling can feel challenging, and you may not know what to expect from your counsellor, or what their expectations are of you. My style of working is relaxed and informal. I’ll bring my authenticity to the room, and that’s all I ask of you. Through my personal and clinical experience, i’ve seen people get lost trying too hard or finding where they belong. This can also be seen in unhelpful behaviours where you try to fit in. I have a lot of success with clients going back to basics of who you are as an individual and not how you are for others.
Working together, I aim to offer you a better and healthier relationship that you may have had before, one that comes with a high regard for your well-being and your progression. I work in this reparitive way so we can discover who you are and how you relate to yourself.
I bring my experience and clinical training, but most of all, I bring myself! I genuinely believe that by me being honest and as open as i’m asking you to be in the room, we will be able to work in a way that feels less like counselling and more like two people working together. My authenticity and integrity are a cornerstone of my work.
