Hello, my name is Danielle, and I am a Person Centred Counsellor. I offer a collaborative and supportive relationship, where you can explore what worries, issues, thoughts and feelings you are experiencing. I offer a confidential space, where you will be listened to with empathy and warmth. I offer a free 20 minute introductory call as I understand that taking the first step is a difficult process. This call will give you an opportunity to ask any questions regarding the counselling process and help you decide if I am the right therapist for you.
I work with adults, suffering from a range of generic mental health issues, such as, addiction, anxiety, depression, stress which impact our relationships. I can help you explore where these difficulties originate from. By understanding how the past can impact the present this can offer the possibility of different choices and coping mechanisms.
I have worked in the public sector for the last 18 years. This includes working in a drug and alcohol charity, supporting individuals with various Mental Health issues and I am currently supporting families within Children’s Services for Social Care.
