Hi, I’m Danielle! I have experience offering talking therapy to people aged 18+ struggling with a variety of experiences including the many effects of adverse childhood experiences and trauma, PTSD experiences (intrusive thoughts, flashbacks, nightmares, avoidance), anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, difficulties in relationships (feeling easily rejected or attacked perhaps), difficulties regulating emotions. I am skilled at helping people make sense of their experiences by thinking with them about the wider context of their life, and being attentive to what emerges within the therapeutic relationship.
Everyone’s experiences are unique, and people do not always fit ‘neatly’ into specific models of therapy which is why I find it most useful to draw on different theories and models in my practice, working in an integrative way.
Spending time finding the right therapist for you is important, so please feel welcome to email me if you would like to arrange a free initial 15-minute meeting to meet me and ask any questions you may have. An initial meeting will help us think together about whether I may be the right therapist for you.
