Hello and welcome, I'm Danielle! Finding a therapist can be a daunting task so here's an overview of me, my clinical practice and how we could work together to help make those difficulties, big or small, feel more manageable. As a psychologist and systemic practitioner, I will join you in your therapeutic journey. My role is to sit (virtually) alongside you, to facilitate and guide, while you provide the direction for the therapy. You are the expert in your own life, and I will help where I can in supporting you meeting and achieving your goals. I take a compassionate, non-judgemental stance, ensuring you feel safe and supported.
My clinical practice is underpinned by an integrative approach, drawing on a variety of psychological and systemic models. I have a warm, compassionate style and take a curious position when working with a range of mental health difficulties including common and complex emotional and relational needs, personality difficulties and complex trauma.
Together, we can develop an understanding of your difficulties and collaboratively work on goals to break unhelpful patterns and make positive, meaningful change.
