I am a registered therapist with the BACP, with over 10 years’ experience supporting people through a range of mental health and relationship difficulties, including experiences of abuse and domestic abuse. I offer a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can begin to talk about what’s been happening for you, at your own pace.
I work with people from many different backgrounds and understand that it can feel hard to reach out, especially if you’ve felt hurt, controlled, or not listened to in your relationships. My aim is to help you feel heard, respected, and supported.
My approach is integrative, which means I draw on different ways of working, including person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT, systemic and existential therapy. In practice, this means I adapt to you as an individual, rather than expecting you to fit a particular model or way of thinking.
I believe therapy is a trusting relationship where we work together to make sense of your experiences. I pay close attention to the impact of relationships, family dynamics, culture, and life circumstances, particularly when these have contributed to feeling stuck, unsafe, or unsure of yourself. We can gently explore patterns, and rebuild a sense of self.
