My name is Dr Dan Southall. I am an accredited and registered clinical psychologist.
Starting out in therapy can be daunting but I can support you to work through difficult feelings and make sense of the confusion. You may be struggling with feelings of anger, low mood, anxiety, or stress. We all face challenges and hard times, but with a little courage and kindness, we can find a way to face painful experiences. My approach is patient, compassionate and warm. I believe that we’re naturally pulled toward what really matters to us, but sometimes we just need a little help from someone to guide us toward taking those first steps.
I have worked for many years supporting people who are struggling to cope with painful thoughts and feelings. My specialist area is working with people who have faced traumatic experiences, I have worked in many areas of adult mental health so if the difficulties you are struggling with are not listed here then do get in touch and I may be able to help you.
