I'm Dale. I'm a BACP registered integrative counsellor and I specialise in helping couples and individuals with relational and/or relationship issues, as well as a variety of common mental health issues such as anxiety, low self-esteem and depression.
I offer face to face counselling to clients who come to my practice in central Eastleigh from the Winchester, Southampton and Eastleigh areas, and online across the UK.
Communication is one of the main reasons clients tell me their relationships are suffering. Our experiences of communicating as we grow up, very much form the basis of how we communicate as adults. Sometimes in couples these can conflict. My role is to help you to ask for, and meet each others needs as a couple, while retaining your sense of individuality.
As one of a relatively small number of male therapists in this field, I think I offer a different perspective and experience of couple's or relationship therapy. In this work the relationship is the client. We explore past experiences to learn each other's patterns of behaviour, and what aspects of yourselves you can bring to create a couple state of mind.
