Hi, I’m Cathie, welcome to my profile. I like to work with anyone who feels they need help to be curious about the thoughts, feelings and difficulties they experience. My experience as a children and young people’s counsellor allows me to reach out to clients at school, college and sixth form in addition to counselling adults of all ages. I also work empathically with parent/child relationships and families and couples, relationships under strain due to a diagnosis including neurodivergent conditions and age-related pressures.
My practice is inclusive and my space is accessible. Each person brings their own set of needs so there are no wrong answers or ways of seeing things. I work unconditionally in a Person-Centred way; I strongly believe that each person is their own expert.
I like to practice using Person-Centred talking but also like to offer creative opportunities as I understand that this can be a more accessible approach for many. I will always work with you at your pace, in the way you find most comfortable.
