Welcome, my name is Zak and I am an integrative psychotherapist, counsellor and mindfulness practitioner, I am also the founder of Cultivating Therapeutic Counselling, a growing private practice in North London & Cheshunt. I work with individuals and couples, offering you a warm, confidential and non-judgemental environment, helping you to explore your thoughts, emotions and behaviours in a space where you can feel safe and listened to. I will work beside you and help you to gain an insight and understanding into the struggles and difficulties you may be facing in your life, as I know directly what it feels like to feel overwhelmed.
It can be easy to feel overwhelmed and out of control in your life. From time to time, we all experience feelings of stress, sadness, anger and guilt as we navigate through different life challenges, but sometimes we find it just a little bit harder to cope than we are normally used to.
Therapy involves noticing and sometimes challenging the ways we think about ourselves, our past and the situations we find ourselves in. Over time this awareness can empower us to be true to ourselves and be more resilient. Working with a therapist provides a trusting and supportive space to focus on what’s going on for you.
