At times in our lives we can feel our anxiety rising to panic, a sense that things were not meant to be like this. Whether it is the anguish of grief or the hopelessness of depression, or the pain of relationships with those around us, I can give you support to gain a better understanding of yourself and improve your life. Often we don't know what is wrong, we just know we are not ourselves.

If you are struggling with your feelings it can really help to talk to someone who is impartial, experienced, empathetic and really listens to what you say. I can help you work with those difficult feelings in a compassionate space without judgement.

You have got this far but you may be feeling unsure of where to begin. It's good to have an initial chat free of charge, so that you can see if we are a good fit for each other and so that I can explain how it works. There is never any obligation and you'll always be in control of how long you need counselling and how often we meet.

I try to keep my fees at the lowest level I can manage to encourage everybody to come forward. Fortnightly or three weekly sessions can help manage the cost. Counselling students will be charged a reduced rate.
