As an integrative psychotherapist (BACP accredited) and EMDR therapist, I draw on a combination of different approaches, so that the therapy is tailored to each client's individual needs. EMDR therapy is incredibly effective for healing all types of trauma, as well as other issues like anxiety, depression, phobias, & can make groundbreaking shifts in a short space of time. In longer term therapy, I have a special interest in codependency, which underpins many unhelpful behaviours and thought patterns, in relationship with self and others.
In my early 20's I suffered from depression &anxiety, so I know how debilitating it can be. Working on myself, with the help of a good therapist, transformed my life, so I chose the same type of therapy to train in, as I have total faith in its life changing potential.
