My practice is (non)Gender, LGBTQIA+, non-monogomy and kink affirmative. A safe, confidential and grounded space to share whatever might be concerning you.
Anxiety, family/relationship struggles, traumatic experiences, feeling low...there are lots of reasons that may have driven you in search of someone to speak with. We will explore whatever has led you to seek counselling at whatever pace feels safest and easiest for you. In terms of how you might experience me...Open, warm, grounded, not afraid to have a laugh or shed a tear, sensitive, non-judgemental and welcoming of all regardless of race, age, gender, sexuality or history.
The therapeutic counselling relationship has the potential to pave the way for us knowing ourselves in unexpected ways; accepting ourselves for who we are. I also believe that our own development when we were younger, our past experiences and our past relationships, undoubtedly have a considerable impact on our lives and relationships in the present time.
I appreciate it may feel very difficult to reach out. Whatever may have led you to this point, though, you are very welcome to get in touch for an initial appointment where we can meet in person to discuss what has brought you to counselling. The initial appointment is £10 and helps cover room cost. I am available Mon-Thurs, afternoons and evenings.
