I am a fully qualified and professionally registered therapist with the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy. I am based in The Greenbank Rooms, in the suburb of Clarkston, on the southside of Glasgow. My space has easily accessible public transport links (bus and train) and on-street/off-street parking close by. I also offers online sessions with clients. I offer a safe, confidential, non-judgemental and holistic space to explore the reasons for whatever emotional difficulties you may be experiencing. Care, trust and empathy with respect to your situation are guaranteed - without exception.
I am - at heart - a Person-Centred Therapist, although I have also been trained in Existentialist, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis techniques in addition to using Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioural tools where applicable. My primary focus is helping people with Anxiety, Depression, Loss, Grief & Bereavement, Addictions and Relational Issues.
In terms of experience, Craig was a Police Officer for 3 decades, retiring at the rank of Inspector; 12 of those years in the role of Hostage & Crisis Negotiator. Whilst there are some differences between negotiation and therapy, there were enough similarities for him to know that his vocation in life is to help people experiencing emotional difficulties.
