If you're here, the chances are you've experienced some turmoil or upheaval, perhaps a bereavement, trauma or poor physical or mental health. Maybe you're feeling like you don't know yourself, or like you don't fit in. You don't have to navigate difficult periods and life events alone - therapeutic conversations and support can help, offering the time and space for self-compassion, to heal and rediscover yourself and to feel empowered to lead the kind of life that is right for you. I offer down-to-earth counselling and support as you increase self-awareness, explore unhelpful self-beliefs and make sense of current or past events.
I work in a trauma informed, inclusive and respectful way and am not formulaic or clinical in my approach. My hope is you will always know you are with a human being who accepts you, just as you are, and believes in your potential. I work with clients on a weekly basis, as they navigate areas such as: bereavement, depression, neurodivergence and adolescence.
I know from experience the value of an empowering and empathic counselling encounter - I also know the best environment and manner for counselling to take place in differs from person to person; as such I offer a variety of ways of working, including online, face to face and 'walk & talk' sessions - we can work together to create the right space for you.
