I am an Integrative Therapist offering a safe, compassionate and culturally sensitive space for Black and Asian women who are tired of being "strong for everyone else"-navigating trauma, abuse, family expectations, cultural silence, shame or emotional neglect.
In our work together, you won't have to minimise your pain, explain your culture or justify your feelings. I draw from Trauma Informed therapy, Attachment based Approaches, Psychodynamic and Relational Work, Somatic (body based techniques) and Compassion Focused Therapy.
I offer therapy for women who are ready to choose themselves, and heal so you move on with your life.
I have been privileged to work with various mental health charities; MIND, BetterHelp Ashiana Network, Solace Women's Aid and have gained more experience in working with childhood trauma, Domestic Abuse, coercive control, sexual violence, marital rape, anxiety, shame, low self-worth, people pleasing, cultural pressures, arranged or forced marriages.
You can expect a non-judgemental relationship built on trust, therapy that honours your cultural background and individuality, gentle pacing when exploring trauma ( you are in control of your session), space to reconnect with your voice, needs and inner strength. Healing is not about "fixing" you, it's remembering who you were before survival took over.
