An experienced counsellor with over 18 years of working with adolescents and adults. A caring, resilient, courageous and empathetic person who has a wide range of therapeutic skills. I am experienced in helping clients process their bereavement and have an interest in trauma. It gives me great satisfaction to see clients gain self awareness, heal and reach their potential
I offer a safe, non judgemental, confidential space, where the client can explore what is troubling them, in a creative way. I am aware of, and respect cultural and spiritual differences. Being aware of the development stages of a human helps me give the client some insights into their behaviour.
I am a kind, caring person who realised it takes courage to attend counselling. It is a brave thing to do. My gift to the client is my self awareness. I adapt my skills to the client and am conscious and respect a person who has learning disabilities. My passion, is if a client is stuck for whatever reason, is to empower them to reach their potential.
