Hi, I am an accredited counsellor for children, young people and adults. You can choose to meet with me face to face or online. Both modes give you a safe and confidential place to reflect on the difficult feelings or events in your life. We talk about what you want to talk about, at a pace set by you. I aim to provide a nurturing and restorative place for you to build strength, understanding of relationships and events and find new ways to manage and make changes. I will adapt how I work according to your age and interests so for children we may use play, art, stories or games to think about confusing or difficult feelings.
Your therapy can be for 6 weeks or a few months. Short therapy usually focuses on recent or current challenges, longer therapy is likely if you're troubled by past difficulties. We will agree what is right for you when we meet at the start and review at intervals.
