I work with you to make it make sense, whatever "it" may be, while allowing you to feel what you feel without judgement. We might put the pieces of your story into place, or develop coping skills to get you through. There is no one set way to make sense of life and I work to find what helps you. I am an Integrative Counsellor, working to look with curiosity and care through various "lenses" at your ways of relating to yourself, to other people, or to the world. My aim is to promote self-understanding, authenticity, and empower you to help yourself. I find that people already have what it takes to find their way or to change.
I work to understand how you became the person you are and how that plays into what is affecting you now. I try to integrate an understanding of your nervous system (where appropriate). If you are interested, I will share education materials. I find this method helps you to build an understanding of the bigger picture and patterns in play.
